Marko Čepin - Professor of the University of Ljubljana, PhD.

Obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees at the University of Ljubljana. He was a research fellow of the Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana (Republic  of Slovenia), for the period of 1992 to 2009. He was invited to Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) in the year 2001 and to Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia) in 2014 and in the year 2016. He was a president of Nuclear Society of Slovenia (2010-2014, 2014-2018). Since 2018 has been a president of European Safety and Reliability Association (ESRA). He teaches at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, from the year 2009. His research interests include energy engineering, power plants and reliability of power systems.

At NCFU he implements international educational project in the field of reliability of power systems in cooperation with the Institute of Engineering. He also takes part in implementation of educational programme on specialty 13.03.02 "Power Energy and Electrical Engineering".
