Fokeeva Liudmila Vladimirovna – Cand. Sci. Geography, assistant professor, assistant professor of the Department of International Tourism, Faculty of International Relations, Belarusian State University.

Graduated from Belarusian State University, major “Geography”. Was awarded the academic degree of Cand. Sci. Geography in 2009 by the decision of the Thesis Defense Council at Belarusian State University. In 2013 by the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Qualifying Committee of the Republic of Belarus she was awarded the academic degree of assistant professor in “Geography”.

Sphere of professional interests – theory and practice of excursion tourism and event management, socio-economic development of regions, sustainable development.

Co-author of eight monographs, author and co-author of more than 100 scientific publications in domestic and foreign scientific journals, as well as a number of methodological publications.

Winner of the scholarship of the President of the Republic of Belarus for talented young scientists (2012), prize of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for social support of gifted pupils and students for a special contribution to development of abilities of gifted pupils and students (2015). Awarded with a certificate of appreciation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, a certificate of honour of the Belarusian State University.
