The North Caucasus Federal University hosted an international scientific and practical student conference dedicated to topical issues of international relations in a changing world order. The event was attended by students, undergraduates and postgraduates studying modern political processes and regional security issues.

During the conference, the participants considered a wide range of topics related to the development of international relations in modern conditions. The reports were devoted to the processes of regionalization in world politics, the role of international organizations in the new geopolitical realities, as well as issues of ensuring security in the context of the transformation of the world order.

The young researchers paid special attention to the problems of cybersecurity in the South Caucasus, the adaptation of small states to changes in the international system, the evolution of hybrid threats, and the prospects for the development of the BRICS, SCO, and EAEU integration associations. The discussion also focused on UN peacekeeping operations and Russia's role in maintaining stability in the post-Soviet space.

English became the language of communication of the conference. This allowed international students to demonstrate professional communication skills and present the results of their research in an international format.

The conference was moderated by scientists from the NCFU Faculty of International Relations, Doctor of Historical Sciences Karine Ambartsumyan, Doctor of Philology Tatiana Marchenko and assistant Maxim Semikov. The experts noted the high level of training of the participants and the relevance of the submitted works.
