The idea of celebrating this language as one the UN’s official languages was adopted on February 20, 2010, and on June 6, 2011 Russian President signed the respective decree.

And this is a mission that NCFU has been carrying proudly since then – from teaching Russian as a foreign language to running international programs and offering respective training to teachers in other countries.
There is also a lot of cooperation with academic institutions of France, Tajikistan, Iran, Georgia, Azerbaijan, China, Turkey, while NCFU’s Linguistics students have regularly won, since 2014, the Russian Language Assistant title, after which they travel to France to teach in larger schools.
