NCFU students joined the largest Russian taekwondo contest held in the City of Tambov.

The event brought around 500 best athletes from 30 areas of Russia, including Alexander Vinnikov and Nikolay Serdyukov (Faculty of Physical Education & Sport, NCFU) who won their prizes in several disciplines.

– This year we got the best athletes here, and a victory here is equal to winning the title of Master of Sports of Russia. I have been practicing for more than 10 years, and this is not my first win, yet I am truly proud, – Alexander Vinnikov was quoted as saying.
