NCFU hosted the business forum Territory of Business – Territory of Life arranged by the Russian National Organization of Small- and Mid-Scale Business, Foundation for business support, Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol region, banks and business circles.

The forum program was really interesting and included numerous discussions focusing on interaction of the business and power authorities, new financial resources, markets for small-scale business, and even work under the pandemic.

– University nowadays is not just an academic institution but an intellectual corporation, - Andrey Likhovid (Pro-Rector for Research Work, NCFU) was quoted as saying. – University should not just offer training for those to be further employed in the current areas of economy yet should train experts who are to create new areas of economy. And this is what we do at NCFU.

The forum also included the regional stage of the national Business Idea Contest, where the winners in the following nominations were awarded:

• Best youth project
• Best industrial project
• Best agricultural project
• Best women’s project
• People’s entrepreneur
• Best municipality

The winners, apart from their awards, got the right to advance to the national stage of the forum.

The event was held not offline only yet, given the pandemic context, also online on YouTube, VK and Facebook.
