NCFU Draws Conclusions for 2020
As NCFU has drawn the bottom line for this year’s activities, a special focus has been made on grants awarded to our specialists – 17 grants for socially-oriented projects.
At the award ceremony, the Board of Management noted that s year has proven a truly complicated one, which affected not the academic affairs alone yet also research activities, with many projects presented and discussed online. However, this fact has never served any insurmountable obstacle, and both our students and teachers have managed to win more than a few awards and prizes.
– From the very beginning of this year, we have been running an active informational campaign among our students, - Tatyana Tereshkina (Head, Center for Youth Projects) was quoted as saying. – We have always been open to tell them about the coming events, grants, and offered all support we could. All in all we have held over 40 вmeetings with students, with a lot of details announced via social networks. Given all that, many of our students decided to try their hands in winning grants, and some of them have proven successful, indeed.
17 NCFU representatives have won grants, most of them accounted for by the Institute of Humanities, while the entire sum of funding has reached RUR 12 mln.
– This is so nice to be recognized by the university that you are part of, – Alexandra Bashkatova (Chair, Student Council of NCFU) noted at the award ceremony. – This is where you can see that none of your effort has gone unnoticed, and the University is more than willing to offer us support. And this support makes us so confident.
