NCFU international students became winners of the Economic Youth Forum

Foreign students of the North Caucasus Federal University became prize-winners of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum in Yekaterinburg and received the "Order of Eurasia" award for a prize.
Over the past five years, NCFU foreign students have been participating in the final events of the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, held by Ural State University of Economics with the support of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
The defense of the projects took place on April 22, and Stavropol University awarded Dennis Mambwe from Zambia and Joseph Selvaraj Xavier Rex Chevern from Sri Lanka, as well as their Russian co-authors, the bronze of the International Competition of Research papers by Young Scientists and students in a foreign language "Socio-cultural ties as the basis of trusting relationships in the economy" and the Order of Eurasia in the appropriate color..

– Our students spoke to international and Russian experts. The assessment was very strict, and the fight for prizes was hard. Dennis and Rex's project aroused great interest from experts and they were asked the most questions. The discussion was very lively. I would like to note that the students were very confident and were a united team," said Elena Shatskaya, Project Manager and delegation Leader, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Management at the NCFU Institute of Economics and Management.
Dennis Mambwe, Chairman of the Union of International Students, and Daria Brykalova also won the third place in the International Competition of Research papers by Young Scientists and Students "Assessment of Regulatory Impact in Public and Municipal Administration." Mtshali Bongmusa Zama Rose from Swaziland became a finalist. All participants received finalist certificates.

In 2026, the Eurasian Forum, which runs from April 21 to 24, 2026 in Yekaterinburg, is being held for the 16th time. The total number of participants is 24,216 delegates. 15,828 entries were submitted for 42 contests. Among the participants are representatives of 87 regions of Russia and 117 countries. The Forum was attended by 93 representatives of diplomatic missions, including 35 ambassadors, 77 rectors of universities in Russia and abroad. NCFU became one of the 217 universities in Russia and abroad whose students qualified for the finals of the competition. 556 experts evaluated the students' project work, and 65 media representatives from Russia and the CIS covered the forum.
Projects are traditionally highly appreciated at the forum and receive prizes and titles of laureates and winners.
