An interregional round table at the North Caucasus Federal University discussed the substantive aspects of teaching the discipline "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood", bringing together experts from leading universities in the North Caucasus. The spring regional tour of the sixth season of the All-Russian student project "Your Turn" has started at the North Caucasus Federal University. The event brought together activists from Stavropol, bringing together more than a thousand participants within the walls of the university.

North Caucasus Federal University has won the third season of the science reality show "Passion for Grants". The team of scientists successfully passed all the tests of the project and won a grant from the Russian Science Foundation in the amount of 5 million rubles annually for the development of their research.
NCFU scientists are developing a strategy for the sustainable development of mountainous areas through the development of tourism. The project, supported by the Russian Science Foundation, is aimed at solving the acute problem of population outflow and creating new jobs.

The North Caucasus Federal University hosted the annual "Best among the First" competition among first-year students, one of the key events in the extracurricular life of first–year students.
At the general meeting of the Stavropol Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, held at the North Caucasus Federal University, Acting Rector of NCFU Professor Tatiana Shebzukhova was unanimously elected Chairman of the department. Nikolay Vershigora, Deputy Director of the Regional Development Department of the Russian Geographical Society Executive Directorate, took part in the event.
Students of the Specialized Educational and Scientific Center of the North Caucasus Federal University will present their projects at the XXII All-Russian Annual Youth Scientific Conference with international participation "Science of the South of Russia: achievements and prospects" in Rostov-on-Don, which will be held from April 13 to 26, 2026.
