The trade union team of the Faculty of Physics and Technology of the North Caucasus Federal University was recognized as the best in the North Caucasus at the District stage of the All-Russian competition "You are the Leader". The two-day event was held in Vladikavkaz at the North Ossetian State University.

The participants were waiting for intense competitive tests and a large educational part. 4 teams from different regions of the North Caucasus took part in the competition, and students and trade union activists from six universities of the North Caucasus Federal District became listeners of the educational block and spectators of the competition for the title of "Best".

– The "You are the leader" contest is quite young for our district: This is the second time we have held it in 2026. But the level of preparation of the teams and the interest of the participants definitely justify our efforts to organize the forum. "You are a leader" is a project not only about knowledge of the legal framework of our trade union activities, but also about cohesion, unity and the desire to popularize the student trade union community of the country. Of course, winning such a competition is an honor and motivation to show even better work results! – said Grigory Savenko, Chairman of the Primary Trade Union Organization of NCFU Students and Postgraduates of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education.

The event was organized by the Student Coordinating Council of the All-Russian Trade Union of Education in the North Caucasus Federal District, the North Ossetian State University and the primary trade union organization of university students. Grigory Savenko and Eva Formaleva, a trade union organization information specialist, also joined the NCFU organizing committee.

In 2026, the jury consisted of experienced mentors and experts, representatives of the Russian trade union community. Now the team of our university will travel to the capital for the final of the All-Russian competition, which will be held in August 2026.
