North Caucasus Federal University has entered the RAEX agency's subject rating for 2026, confirming its status as one of the country's leading universities. The University has become one of the best in the fields of geography and oil and gas business.

When forming subject ratings, RAEX experts rely on a comprehensive set of data, including official statistics from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, bibliometric indicators reflecting scientific productivity and citation of works, as well as the results of student competitions "I am a professional". In addition, analysts take into account data from the media monitoring system, educational platforms and online course aggregators, as well as university activity indicators on social networks such as VK, Rutube, Telegram and other platforms.

In 2025, the university entered the top 100 universities in Russia according to the annual RAEX 100 rating, improving its position by 10 points compared to the previous year.

These results underline the growing authority of NCFU as a modern scientific and educational center that trains highly qualified personnel for priority sectors of the economy.
