The first dormitory of the North Caucasus Federal University was connected to a secure wireless Internet, equipped with 64 Wi-Fi points. A stable Internet connection will help students prepare for classes faster.
MTS engineers provided full coverage of the dormitory with a Wi-Fi signal. To log in, you must pass two-factor authentication, which not only protects the student himself, but also eliminates the risks of malicious traffic or third-party network connections. Secure communication channels also ensure stable Internet operation.

– First of all, the implemented solution is designed to ensure the information security of students and educational institutions, as well as to minimize the risks of external impact on the university's infrastructure through open Wi-Fi points. At the same time, we can talk about the comfort of using the Internet by students. The network is seamless, which means that when switching from one Wi-Fi zone to another, you do not need to re–authorize," commented Svyatoslav Koshurnikov, Director of MTS in the Stavropol Territory.
The university's IT support will also be able to view the number of connections and monitor the distribution of Internet traffic. This is done in order to exclude inappropriate use of the Internet, for example, unlimited constant downloading of large files.
