Round 200 students from 26 countries came to the NCFU this winter, while some of them – for the first time in the NCFU history – being students from Columbia.
The NCFU now is absolutely perfectly prepared to host foreign students, and the work is based on a specifically developed algorithm aimed at preventing the COVID-19 spread.
The international affairs department of the University has arranged bus transfers from all the airports around Stavropol, while arriving students will be staying in a specially assigned place within the dorm before they get their PCR test results. The NCFU catering service offers them hot food, and both teachers and students help with various counseling and daily support on a volunteer basis, many of the volunteers being foreign students themselves.
Another 20 foreign students are expected to arrive at the NCFU before the end of February.
