– International degree programs belong to an extremely effective set of tools to promote our University in the international educational services market. We have already signed agreements to launch 43 programs with 11 partners from 9 countries, and now we are involved in negotiations with the People’s Republic of China. The Ministry of Education of China has approved 4 joint degree programs to be run together with the Dalian University, and enrollment is to be started this year, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.

Besides, the NCFU is involved in academic cooperation with numerous countries, including Kazakhstan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and Abkhazia, with joint degree programs with the Belarus State University and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia to be launched in 2022.

Another region where the NCFU enjoys a lot of academic respect is the Middle East, with double degree programs (Drilling of oil and gas wells and Operation and maintenance of oil production facilities) being developing currently following a visit of a NCFU delegation to the Lebanese Republic, where the Lebanese International University is the partner of the NCFU. Lebanese students will be delivered training in English – 2 years in Beirut, 2 years in Stavropol. This is the first project in the field of oil and gas engineering where Lebanon is involved.
