NCFU Students to Study in Italy

Anna Kuznetsova (postgraduate student, Institute of Earth Sciences) is getting ready to travel to Italy for a field placement at the University of Trento, where she is to spend five months expanding her knowledge of tourism business (based on a Russian President’s Scholarship).
Anna, who is both a postgraduate student and a teacher (dept for Socio-Economic Geography and Tourism, NCFU) has been awarded the scholarship to carry out her research abroad. Now she is going to undergo training at the University of Trento within the area of sustainable tourism (February – June, 2021).
Anna will be studying the tourism features in Italy to further apply the knowledge to her activities in Russia, thus contributing to the progress of tourism destinations in South Russia and North Caucasus. The outcomes of her studies will be reflected in the PhD paper.
Besides, there are two more NCFU students who have been awarded similar scholarships – Eduard Dzhendubaev (Institute of Engineering) and Nikolai Sopnev (Institute of Earth Sciences) who are to travel to the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) and the University of Eastern Finland respectively.
