NCFU Researchers Launch Russian Language Week in Tajikistan

The NCFU has launched Russian language courses in Tajikistan, teaching children of refugees from Afghanistan, thus helping the kids adjust to the life and schooling in Central Asia.
As Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) noted, the Russian Language Week is a joint project developed by the NCFU and the Russian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) Agency in Tajikistan.
– Around 70 people aged 9 to 25 have already revealed their desire to study the Russian Language and Literature. The training is arranged at the Slavic Culture Center in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), and the NCFU experts go on promoting the Russian language not in Tajikistan only yet also in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Uzbekistan, Syria and Lebanon, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.
The North-Caucasus federal University carries out a lot of career guidance activities in Tajikistan, cooperating with many schools and other academic institutions.
Another project that the NCFU held in Tajikistan was the Maths Week, where the NCFU teachers delivered workshops as well as open classes for kids thus helping them prepare for exams.
