The NCFU has launched The Russian on Wednesdays – a large-scale project aimed at promoting the Russian language and Russian literature classics abroad and among foreigners residing in Russia writers.

As Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) noted, the project is open to welcome all those willing to expand their knowledge.

– The classes are to be held both face-to-face and online, so anyone can join. As of today, we are ready to start teaching people from Lebanon, Syria, China, Jordan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iraq and other countries. Promoting Russian is among the top missions for our University, so we are going to follow it without fail. Given the current reality, it is of specific relevance, - Mr. Bespalov was quoted as saying.

Besides, the NCFU is about to launch the first Russian Language resource Center in Lebanon on the premises of the Lebanese State University, where everyone is also welcome to get to know the rich taste of the Russian culture.
