From the new academic year on, NCFU, together with the Russian-Armenian University (Yerevan, Armenia) will launch joint training for students seeking a Master’s degree in Economics, upon completion of which double degree will be awarded from the two universities, respectively.

This project will contribute to the two parties’ further cooperation. The training will be offered on a paid basis, and the first enrollment is to be announced this year. The entrance examinations will be held separately, by each of the university, and the classes will be delivered in Russian. The first year of training will be spent in the home university, while the other year the future economists will have to travel to the partner’s place – Institute of Service, Tourism & Design (NCFU Branch in Pyatigorsk, Russia). Upon successful completion, the graduates will have to present their newly mastered knowledge and skills to a panel of experts coming from both academic institutions.

This cooperation, though, goes far beyond just academic activities, yet also implies joint methodological guides development as well as teaching staff exchange, with joint research planed for the future.
