NCFU Launches A Joint Degree with Belarus

NCFU has signed an agreement with the Belarus State University on launching degree programs implying double diplomas. The Master’s program is aimed at training specialists in the area of Social Work.
This the first program started in cooperation with the Belarus State University, while the entire process was preceded by a visit to Belarus paid by Elena Zritneva and Nadezhda Klushina (Institute of Education and Social Sciences).
– We are starting to enroll students next year, – Prof. Nadezhda Klushina (Head of the newly launched program, Dept for Social Technologies, NCFU) explained. – Now we are discussing the curricula and the competencies to be mastered through the training
The program duration is 2.5 years, while Russian applicants will be assessed by teachers from Belarus and vice versa. Part of the training is to be held in Russia, and the other part – in Belarus.
– This is a perfect opportunity for our students to undergo good training in two universities at the same time, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying. – As for the universities, such joint projects will help them exchange experience as well as master newer technologies in teaching.
The Belarus State University is a largest academic, research and innovation center with about 29,000 students from all over the world and a cooperation network of more than 60 countries.
