NCFU people have taken another share of field placement at the La Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) aтd at the University of Trento (Italy), where they were able to learn a lot about degree programs offering several diplomas, and signed new cooperation agreements.

Prof. Svetlana Zenchenko (Acting Assistant Head for International Affairs, Institute of Economics and Management, NCFU) and Anna Savtsova (Acting Assistant Head for Research Work, Institute of Economics and Management, NCFU) spent two weeks studying the Italian experience of running Master’s degree programs.

– Our university is promoting international cooperation very actively, and the Institute of Economics and Management is always working to enhance the list of degree programs delivered jointly with our Italian partners, – Prof. Svetlana Zenchenko noted. – Our Italian partners have already accumulated a lot of experience here, and we take huge interest in it. he La Sapienza University is the largest one in Europe, and within Economics alone it offers dozens of double degree programs, which are in great demand among students. We are currently running three programs with them, yet coming to see everything closer has shown us some newer opportunities in design such programs.

Besides, the NCFU experts held meetings with the top management of the partner-universities and signed more agreements implying cooperation both in academic and in research spheres – the NCFU together with la Sapienza now is launching another – fourth – double degree program in Innovation Management in Service and Communications, which is to be offered both on free and on paid basis. Students granted admission will split their academic time between the two partner-universities – in Russia and in Italy, respectively. Besides, several research projects are already underway, as well as some articles are to be published soon in world-class journals.

Also, experts of the University of Trento will join the business school hosted at the NCFU, while the NCFU representatives will be welcome at similar events held in Italy.
