NCFU Establishes an International Consortium

North-Caucasus Federal University signed an agreement on entering the Big Caucasus Consortium, with the Abkhaz State University, the South Ossetian State University and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia joining the initiative.
Now, the joint activity implies promoting research and education as well as cultural cooperation in the area of teaching the Russian language in Armenia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Russia.
The agreement is a landmark event for all our universities, and this is a good outcome for this year 2020, which has proven a trial to the entire world, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying. - Our universities share successful cooperation. Given our serious academic potential, I am sure the Big Caucasus Consortium will develop into an effective platform for sustainable development and interaction of academic institutions involved, in terms of the implementation of educational, research and cultural projects.
Now, the activities planned by the partners within their joint work include Russian language and literature training courses, including those based on distance learning technologies. Other events include international conferences and forums, as well as development of programs for academic mobility, involving both students and teaching staff.
