A solemn ceremony of presenting certificates of honour to graduates from foreign countries was held at the North Caucasus Federal University. The most active students from far and near abroad received diplomas and certificates for special achievements.

Pro-rector for strategic development Nikita Avralev congratulated graduates from Angola, Gabon, Yemen, Cote d'Ivoire, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Turkmenistan and other countries:

– Thank you very much for believing in NCFU several years ago. I hope it met and will continue to meet your expectations in a professional career or in the next stage of study. We are very pleased to have you with us, because education has no borders. Unfortunately, the pandemic period has occurred during last semester. It was a difficult period for all of us, so it is even more pleasant for us that you were able to overcome the hardships of distance education. You are just great, and the university is proud of you! I hope that you will keep good memories of the NCFU.

Today 1.5 thousand students from 59 countries of the world study at the university. This year, 350 diplomas were issued to graduates from foreign countries, 40 of which were honours diplomas.

Chairman of the Union of Foreign Students Egidio Nanga, laureate of the All-Russian prize «Student of the Year» in the nomination «Foreign Student of the Year» Levi Musonda, as well as the «Mister NCFU 2020» title holder Yannick Nkoan spoke in return and thanked the university for the happy student years.

– I can’t even list here all the opportunities that NCFU gave me, – says Levi Musonda. – My leadership qualities were actually developed at the university, and thanks to the university I took part in city, regional, national and international events. NCFU is forever in my heart. I am leaving for my homeland, but I will always be a student of this federal university!

Many students will continue their studies at the largest university in the region, as they plan to begin their master's degree or postgraduate studies. Some of the graduates will very soon begin to apply the knowledge gained at NCFU in practice all around the world.
