Professor Dipak Raj Pant (University of Cattaneo, Italy) delivered an open lecture on sustainable development, while the audience was more than just people from NCFU yet experts from other cities of Russia like Chelyabinsk, Taganrog, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, etc.

This interest can be accounted for by the fact that sustainable development is within the focus in many areas, both at national and international levels.

As Professor Dipak Raj Pant stated, a sustainable business strategy has to go beyond just national laws and corporate responsibility but also imply environment and society protection elements, which is especially relevant nowadays that we see deteriorating climate and environment, which, in turn, cannot but affect people’s health.

– Such lectures offer our students a chance to get some extra knowledge about sustainable development, business strategies, and even polish their language and communication skills, – Maria Lapina (Assistant Director for International Activities, Institute of Information Technologies and Telecommunications) was quoted as saying.
