Urs Wagenseil - Professor of the Institute of Tourism, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland ), one of the leading scientists and specialists of the European Unoin in promotioan and sustainable development of tourism destinations. Since 2005 professor Urs Wagenseil acts as the Head of the Department of Tourism, Institute of Tourism, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. In the period of 1999-2005 he was the General Director of Destination Management Company Lenzerheide Tourism, Grison, Switzerland.

Professor Wagenseil has working experience as a manager of corporate sales (Diners Club Switzerland), tourism manager (Wettstein Travel, Switzerland), and as a  project leader and Head of department in "Kuoni Travel Ltd" Head Office, Switzerland.

At NCFU, professor Wagenseil implements international educational and research project in the field of management and development of tourism destinations at the facilities of the Department of social and economic geography, geo-Informatics and tourism, Institute of Mathematics & Natural Sciences. He also provides continuing education for lecturers of graduate chairs of the North Caucasus Federal District universities.
