Maulenov Kasym Syrbaevich – Doctor of Law, professor of the International University of Information Technology (Republic of Kazakhstan).

Graduate of Kazakh State University named after S.M. Kirov, major “Jurisprudence science” (1977). By the decision of the Presidium of the Supreme Qualifying Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan of 21.11.2001 he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Law. In 2003 the Supreme Qualifying Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has awarded him with the academic degree of professor in “Jurisprudence science”.

Winner of the Chokan Valikhanov Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the best scientific research in the humanities. Awarded with medals and certificates of honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In September 2020 he was awarded with medal “25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan” by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Professor K.S. Maulenov has published more than 250 scientific papers. He is the author of study guides recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for all the universities of the republic as well as four editions of the encyclopedia of Kazakhstan boxing (2007, 2009, 2011, 2013).

Research interests: civil law, private international law, international economic law.
