Kaplan Ugurlu – Master of Natural Sciences in the field of international hotel management, PhD in industrial management and marketing, professor of the Kirklareli University (Turkey).

Has working experience as a visiting international lecturer: in 2012 worked as a visiting lecturer at the University of Debrecen, Hungary, in 2013 he worked in Portugal in the framework of Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility programme (the UE Project), in 2012 acted as a researcher at the Baltic Academy For Tourism And Entrepreneurship, Saint Petersburg, in 2013 – as a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Tourism and Recreation of the Vincent Pol University of Social and Natural Sciences in Lublin (Poland). He worked as a manager, principal accountant, income auditor, vice-director of financial department at "The Ritz Carlton Istanbul Hotel", as a finance director at several hotels in Turkey (Radisson SAS Hotel Ankara, Okan Holding AS, Crowne Plaza Ankara).

At NCFU he trains students of specialty "Hotel Management" in the Institute of Service, Tourism and Design. He also conducts continuing education courses "Global trends in hospitality industry".
