Folker Then – Director of Center for Social Investments (CSI) at Heidelberg University. Senior research fellow at Civil Society Center for Public Relations, Los Angeles. The professor acted as Management Board member (2000-2006) and International Committee member (2000-2006) of the Center of European Funds in Brussels, and the International Committee of the Board of Funds in Washington (2000-2004). He is also a member of the German Fundraising Association.

As part of the activities of professor Folker Then at NCFU, the joint extended education programme "Management in non-profit sector" (specialty 39.04.01 "Social Studies") is implemented in cooperation with the Heidelberg University (Germany).
