Program goal:

Training of highly qualified personnel in the field of planning, design and management of cultural landscapes, able to carry out geographical expertise and development of projects, normative legal acts related to territorial, landscape and urban planning, rational use of natural resources.

Entry requirements:

Applicant is obliged to:

1. Have a state-recognized document of higher education.
2. Pass the entrance tests successfully. Enrollment is carried out on the basis of a competitive selection in accordance with the Rules for admission to NCFU.

Entrance tests (specify subjects and minimal grades):

Comprehensive interdisciplinary entrance exam in physical geography and landscape studies.

The applicant is offered a test containing 24 questions.

The structure of the test by complexity:

10 questions of level 1 with 3 points each,

5 questions of level 2 with 4 points each,

5 questions of level 3 with 5 points each.

Cooperation with one of the leading universities of Uzbekistan, Samarkand State University, in the field of geography allows to conduct training of qualified personnel possessing fundamental knowledge of landscape studies, landscape planning at the regional level, including in the field of tourism and nature protection. Graduates are ready for research, design and production, control and audit, organizational and managerial and pedagogical activities.

Graduates have broad employment prospects in different urban planning organizations that develop master plans and territorial planning schemes (urban planning specialists); perform geographical expertise of legal acts related to territorial, landscape and urban planning, environmental management (analysts). Job placement is also possible in the field of provision of educational services (teachers in secondary schools), teaching activities in professional training, professional education, additional professional education (teachers of secondary professional educational organizations, teaching staff of universities and other higher education organizations).
