NCFU hosted the Woman in Science Conference, which was a project held within the youth initiatives grant program.

The main purpose of the event was to enhance the role played by females in social progress and offering women a wider role to be played in the country’s socio-economic development.

One of the major events held at the conference was a plenary session as well as the Female Progress Through Economy Digitization discussion.

The entire project was implemented through the effort taken by Veronika Grudinina (Junior Associate, dept for Finance and Credit, Institute of Economics and Management, NCFU).

– The idea of Women in Science came to me while I was submitting my application to be selected to the staff reserve of NCFU. In February 2023 I had a field placement in the University of Trento (Italy), so I had to join the grant contest online, whereas my team members came in person and supported my application. Now, thanks to the joint work, we did get what we were seeking, – Veronika noted.

And a brief stats fact: NCFU currently employs 1125 Candidates and Doctors of Science, of which 686 are females.
