VTB has announced the names of 45 ambassadors of the second season, students of Russian universities, who will represent the bank as an employer in their universities. In the North Caucasus Federal District, this role will be performed by Vasily Vasiliev, a student at the NCFU Institute of Economics and Management.

— For us, the ambassador program is an opportunity to build a dialogue with students in their language. It is not HR or a top manager of the bank who tells them about career opportunities at VTB, but a student who knows what issues his peers are concerned about and what is important to them when choosing their first job. Last season, we saw a high interest in this format and this year we continue to develop it at universities. We hope that Vasily will help NCFU students learn more about modern banking professions, internships, and opportunities to start a career at VTB while still studying," said Tatiana Mikhailova, Head of VTB's HR Department in the Southern Federal District and the North Caucasus Federal District.

The selection for the second season took place in several stages, as a result of which 45 students from all over Russia entered the program. The official opening of the season took place in Moscow on September 23, 2026, after which the participants were trained in creating content for social networks, public speaking and organizing events.

During the academic year, Vasily Vasiliev will tell NCFU students about professions in the banking sector, internships and opportunities to start a career while still studying. He will also create and promote content about building a career at VTB in the university's student communities and social networks.

It is important that our students understand how the real economy works, what skills are valued in the market and where their knowledge can bring maximum benefit. The VTB Ambassadors Program does not provide NCFU students with abstract motivation, but with specific tools: public speaking skills, working with content, organizing events, and direct contact with industry experts. We see this partnership as an opportunity to strengthen the practical training of economists and managers who will work in Stavropol tomorrow," said Lev Ushvitsky, Director of the Institute of Economics and Management, Doctor of Economics, Professor.

What does this give the participants

As a result of the program, ambassadors will receive an advantage in the selection process for internships at VTB, and will also be able to take part in a training internship. The first season of the program covered 30 key Russian universities, the ambassadors held more than 200 events with a total enrollment of over 330,000 students.

The program solves a two—pronged task: students gain practical experience and understanding of career prospects, and the bank provides an opportunity to speak to a young audience in their language, through peers, rather than through formal presentations. For Stavropol, the formation of a talent pool of local students is a contribution to the long—term development of the urban economy and the preservation of young professionals in the region.
