NCFU hosted a strategic session for the faculty
Category: Main
A strategic session for the faculty was held at the North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU). The event was a continuation of the study "University through the eyes of a teacher" and was dedicated to clarifying the issues raised during the survey.
The main purpose of the meeting was not just to identify existing problems, but to jointly find ways to solve them. The key request from the teachers was the desire to be heard and to see the result of their suggestions.
During the session, the participants discussed several key areas. One of them is to optimize document management and reduce the administrative burden so that teachers have more time for academic and scientific work.

Special attention was paid to the issues of motivation and transparency of the remuneration system. The teachers suggested forming clear criteria for incentive payments and considering additional support measures for certain types of work.
Another block concerned the management and interaction of departments. The participants spoke about the importance of a clear allocation of tasks, timely information and increased transparency of processes.
Issues of digitalization were also discussed: optimization of work in the university's electronic systems, reduction of approval periods and creation of convenient reporting tools.

The Science and education block made proposals for the development of scientific infrastructure, support for teachers in scientific activities and systematic career guidance.
Following the results of the session, proposals were formed that will form the basis for further work. The organizers noted that all the announced initiatives will be analyzed, and work on specific steps will continue. It should be noted that the strategic session became an important stage of an open dialogue between the faculty and the university leadership. The participants agreed that working together to improve processes is a contribution to the quality of education and the development of NCFU.
