On September 8, the NCFU Institute of Economics and Management hosted an event dedicated to Financier's Day, a professional holiday officially included in the list of memorable dates in 2011.
Representatives of the Central Bank and the Ministry of Finance of the Stavropol Territory came to congratulate the students studying in Finance and Credit. The guests emphasized the importance of training qualified personnel: it is the current students who will join the ranks of specialists of regional financial authorities in the future.

– Financier's Day, which is celebrated on September 8, is a special holiday for our institute, where we train future specialists in the field of finance. Game formats help students to understand in practice how monetary relations work in the country and the region and how to manage finances competently," said Lev Ushvitsky, Director of the Institute of Economics and Management, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
The central event of the holiday was the training game "Happiness is not in money". In an entertaining way, the first-year students learned how to manage their personal budget, plan and control expenses, and assess risks with large purchases. The game takes into account modern realities: it reflects current professions, socio‑economic context, popular leisure and education formats.
The event not only allowed students to put their theoretical knowledge into practice, but also strengthened their interest in their future profession.
