Umnik-2023 contest – researchers from Stavropol to get 500k rur for project
NCFU hosted today project presentation for the UMNIK-2023 program with over 80 students, postgraduates and young teachers from the entire region competing.
The program is a project aimed at offering support to young talents (aged 18-30, who have never won the contest award before) in order to help them launch their projects.
– This is a unique event bringing around thousands of talented youngsters annually to help them promote their most daring and innovative ideas. Our university has been part of it since 2012 with over 500 applications submitted since then, and I do believe this conference is to make a perfect place to exchange experience and promote technological growth, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) noted.
The presented developments embraced six areas – Digital Technology; Medicine and Health Saving Technologies; Advanced Materials and Chemical Technologies; New Machines and Intellectual Production Technologies; Resource Saving Energy, whereas the projects were evaluated by both NCFU experts and their industrial partners.
The winners will advance to the finals while the best ones will be awarded 500K RUR to launch their projects.
