The master's student of the North Caucasus Federal University became the winner of the regional stage of the Stavropol Teacher of the Year competition in the Pedagogical Debut nomination.

Nikita Zapevalov is studying at the NCFU Humanitarian Institute in the field of Philology and combines his studies with teaching Russian at school No. 45 in Stavropol. At the award ceremony at the Palace of Children's Creativity, he received the second place among 95 teachers – winners of the city stages of the contests "Teacher of the Year", "Educator of the Year", "Educate a person" and "Director of the Stavropol school".

The student won the right to participate in the regional stage following the results of the city competition, where he became the best in the "Pedagogical Debut" nomination among 43 teachers of Stavropol. The winners of the regional stage were awarded with diplomas and cash prizes – on behalf of the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, Vladimir Vladimirovich, the total prize fund of the contests in 2026 exceeded 6 million rubles.

It is worth noting that such results reflect the systematic work of NCFU in the training of teaching staff – university students enter the profession, already having real practical experience and recognition at the competitive level.
