The student Sports Club of the North Caucasus Federal University "Southern Elephant" was awarded the Golden status within the framework of the All‑Russian certification of student sports clubs conducted by the All-Russian Public Youth Organization "Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia".

The golden status is the highest level of certification, which confirms that the club's activities meet strict standards for organizing sports and educational events, student engagement, media presence development and systematic work to promote a healthy lifestyle.

SSK Yuzhny Slon organizes sports events of various scales: from university competitions to city, regional and all-Russian tournaments and events. The club actively develops student sports, expands the range of sports sections, involves young people in regular physical education classes and forms a culture of teamwork.

The achievement was made possible thanks to the coordinated work of athletes, activists, organizers and mentors of the club. The golden status is not only a recognition of the work already done, but also an incentive to set new goals and create even more opportunities for NCFU students.

In the near future, the club plans to strengthen its work on the involvement of first-year students, expand the calendar of events and take part in new projects of the ACCC of Russia aimed at the development of student sports in the country.
