The NCFU delegation (Head – Dmitry Bespalov, Rector, NCFU) visited the Republic of South Ossetia, while the visit implied a meeting with Alan Gagloev – the newly elected President. The issues under discussion were diverse – fr om the results of the NCFU’s performance and future vision to specific cooperation plans for the nearest years.
The NCFU has been charged with a special mission of supporting South Ossetia in education modernization, which is part of the cooperation and integration agreement between Russia and South Ossetia.
In his speech, President Alan Gagloev expressed his gratitude to the NCFU for the years of partnership and fruitful support.

Dmitry Bespalov, in turn, noted the results of the cooperation, which has been going on since 2013, involving the NCFU and the South Ossetian State University, with legal acts completed and over 2,500 education experts from South Ossetia trained at courses arranged by the NCFU.
– We have numerous events planned, including those to promote the Russian language, in-service training and bringing our legislation acts closer, – Dmitry Bespalov noted in his speech.
The nearest years are to be equally active, with a number of respective events to come, both for the teaching staff and for students.

The final part of the visit included attending the grand opening of the new academic year at the South Ossetian State University, wh ere Dmitry Bespalov in his address wished the freshmen lots of success in their studies, research and personal endeavors.
