The acceleration program "North Caucasus – a point of growth", organized by the North Caucasus Federal University, is launching in Stavropol.

In 2026, the university received two grants for the implementation of acceleration programs to support project teams and student initiatives, and one of them is already starting. The North Caucasus – Point of Growth program will open on September 9 and will unite the academic environment and the industry: tasks for student teams are formulated by real partner companies, and final decisions will be evaluated by experts from the business environment.

In three months, the teams must turn ideas into prototypes and ready-made solutions tailored to the needs of their partners. The final event will be a demo day, where student projects will be "tested by the market": they will be evaluated by representatives of business and technology companies. This format allows not only to develop students' competencies, but also to form a pool of solutions that are potentially in demand in the region.

The North Caucasus – Point of Growth program is an example of an effective partnership between a university and industry, where the university provides infrastructure and methodology, and business provides relevant tasks and expertise.
