North Caucasus Federal University is expanding practice-oriented training in the framework of dual education, combining the educational process with real production.
The educational model is implemented on the basis of the Nevinnomyssk Institute of Technology (branch) NCFU, where students master professional competencies in cooperation with Arnest JSC, one of the leading Russian manufacturers of perfumery and cosmetics and household chemicals.
As part of the partnership, the Institute has a specialized department focused on the tasks of the real sector. Future technologists study the full production cycle, including the development of aromatic compositions, the selection of formulations, the analysis of raw materials and the features of industrial production.
Special attention is paid to project work. Under the guidance of the company's specialists, students develop new fragrances for household diffusers. The created samples comply with international standards and are being tested, confirming the practical applicability of the acquired knowledge.

The head of Nevinnomyssk, Mikhail Minenkov, noted that a modern university should provide students with not only fundamental knowledge, but also applied skills that are in demand in the labor market. According to him, the interaction of the university and the industrial enterprise creates the necessary conditions for this.
Dual training allows students to form a portfolio of real projects already during their studies, increases their competitiveness and promotes the training of specialists who are ready to work in modern production conditions.
The implementation of dual education at NCFU sites reflects the strategic course of the university towards the integration of science, education and the real sector of the economy, as well as the development of regional industrial potential.
