You can get a profession as an operator of unmanned aerial vehicles or an engineering technician due to your service in a new number of unmanned systems troops in the SVO zone. To do this, the student can sign a special contract.

A special contract is concluded for a period of 1 year with the possibility of dismissal after its termination. Students are taught the necessary skills from scratch, and NCFU students who serve in the BPS military are given academic leave. The training itself takes place in the training network of the Russian Ministry of Defense for two months.

– The new branch of the armed forces of unmanned systems is an integral part of the current modern battle, since all tasks are somehow related to unmanned systems. To conduct reconnaissance, strike and control the defeat of an enemy object – all this is the competent use of UAVs. It is necessary not only to possess technology, but also to be able to counteract enemy systems. And the current battle requires young specialists: many guys, NCFU students, are able to strengthen the ranks of unmanned troops and benefit the country," said Vyacheslav Kireev, a teacher at the NCFU Military Training center.

To become a part of the unmanned systems forces, it is necessary to have Russian citizenship and health category A or B. Men from 18 to 45 years old, as well as women who have been trained in regional educational organizations in the specialty of BPS, or who have appropriate training, can get a profession. It is important that preference is given to candidates with experience as an esports athlete, programmer, drone racer, aircraft modeler, car mechanic or radio technician.

It also provides for measures of socio-economic incentives in the form of one-time federal and regional cash payments. The salary for the first year will be from 5,520,000 rubles. It is also important that upon conclusion of the contract, a one-time payment in the amount of 4,500,000 rubles will be transferred. Further, the military can receive from 210 thousand per month.
