A touching concert "NCFU - Family" was held at the North Caucasus Federal University. The event was a sincere gesture of gratitude to parents, those who support their children every day on the path to knowledge and great achievements.

The special atmosphere of the evening was given by the fact that students performed on stage, whose moms and dads were sitting in the auditorium. Each issue has become a living declaration of love and respect for parents.

– Today we say thank you to the parents of our students. There are more than 24,000 students at our large university, each of whom is someone's hope, someone's love, someone's sleepless nights. And all of them are our pride. Being a parent of a student is a special art and difficult work. You handle it wisely and selflessly. You stay close to them, even when they are almost adults," Professor Tatiana Shebzukhova, Rector of NCFU, greeted the audience.

NCFU students have been awarded scholarships from the President of Russia, the Government of Russia, the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, as well as scholarships from the rector of the university. They win Olympiads and competitions all over the country – from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, achieve high results in sports and win awards in creative competitions.

Leading creative teams and soloists of the university, winners of All–Russian competitions performed in front of the closest viewers – their parents. Bright performances were presented by the creative association "Dissonance", the vocal ensemble "Nota Bene", the dance studio "Connect", the studio of Caucasian dance "Highlander", the studio of sports dance "Extreme", the vocal studio "Ryabushki", the dance association "Groove" and other artists.

In addition, students' parents were given guided tours of the university's exhibition spaces. The guests visited the Museum of Cosmonautics, the Astrophysical Observatory and the NCFU History Museum, which allowed them to get to know the scientific and cultural heritage of the university better.

The event was another step towards strengthening the bond between the university and the families of the students.
