North Caucasus Federal University has confirmed its status as one of the leaders in the development of student tourism, presenting extensive experience working with student clubs at the final International Forum-Festival "Studtourism 2025" in Moscow.

The NCFU Tourism Development Center organized a separate track "Student Clubs" at the forum-festival, which brought together representatives of student travel clubs from more than 50 universities in Russia. During the year, the university acted as one of the key methodological and organizational centers of the Studtourism program, accompanying the development of tourist clubs at 8 district forums.

North Caucasus Federal University has implemented a number of regional and All-Russian projects in the field of hiking and expedition tourism. Among them are the Mayevka All–Russian Tour group, educational trips, the student tour group of the Union State in the Republic of Belarus, and the Gorskaya Druzhba student tour group in North Ossetia. In addition, the university provided assistance in organizing the stages of the Student Sports Tourism League competitions.

At the final forum-festival, all these practices were presented as part of competitive defenses, which resulted in the identification of the best student travel clubs in 2025. NCFU's work on the development of student tourism was highly appreciated by the organizers and industry experts.

Following the results of the forum, North Caucasus Federal University was recognized as the winner among the partner universities of the Studtourism Program and awarded a letter of appreciation for its contribution to the development of student tourism in Russia.
