The final of the All-Russian Student Olympiad "Securities Market" at the North Caucasus Federal University brought together participants who are able to navigate the world of investments and stock market fluctuations.

The final tests of the 2025/26 academic year Olympiad with international participation were held at the NCFU Institute of Economics and Management. The participants of the Olympiad not only tested their professional competencies, but also proved themselves to representatives of the financial industry – potential employers.

In the final, 40 students from Russian and foreign universities who successfully completed the correspondence stages met. A total of 175 applications were submitted. During the qualifying round, the participants demonstrated their mastery of financial analysis tools, the ability to predict asset prices and form a conservative investment portfolio. The face-to-face stage included three rounds: case solving, market dynamics analysis, and investment strategy development.

The first day of the finals was held in online trading on the stock exchange and solving practical problems. The second day was dedicated to the analyst competition, where the participants showed their knowledge of technical analysis methods. The work of the contestants was evaluated by a jury consisting of representatives of IC "Rikom-Trust" and LLC "Broker Center", which noted the high level of students' training.

According to the results of all the tests, the winners were distributed as follows:

1st place – Egor Yefimov, Perm State National Research University;

2nd place – Marina Paleeva, North Caucasus Federal University, and Boris Myasishchev, Stavropol State Agrarian University;

3rd place – Vladislav Napalkov, Anthracite Institute of Geosystems and Technologies (branch) Lugansk State University named after Vladimir Dahl.

Within the framework of the Olympiad, an intensive training "Features of stock trading in an electronic and digital environment" was also held, which became a logical continuation of competitive tests and allowed participants to improve their professional training.
