During a meeting with the leadership of the Capital Pedagogical University of China, the delegation of the North Caucasus Federal University agreed to create a mirror laboratory for inclusive education, on joint programs in the field of pedagogy and linguistics. The head of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing also expressed support for partnership projects with Chinese universities.

As part of the NCFU delegation's working trip to China, a meeting was held with the leadership of the Capital Pedagogical University of China. It is one of the country's leading universities in training personnel for the education system, and is subordinate to the Beijing government.

CNU maintains partnerships with universities and research centers in 50 countries, including Russia.

At the meeting, NCFU Rector Professor Tatiana Shebzukhova noted the extensive experience gained at the Federal University in the field of pedagogy and psychology, including many years of work in the areas of introducing new teaching methods, diagnosis and correction of speech disorders, psychological personality research and a number of other areas.

– Chinese partners have expressed interest in creating a mirror laboratory for studying the problems of inclusive education, conducting joint scientific and youth projects, and educational programs. In addition, we have agreed to use the resource of our university to teach Russian as a foreign language, and teachers of the Moscow Pedagogical University will conduct Chinese language courses for NCFU students," said NCFU Rector Professor Tatiana Shebzukhova.

The Chinese side will participate in the VI Forum of Inclusive Higher Education "Inclusive Transformation: Social Lifts and Horizons of the Future", which will be organized by NCFU on June 9-11, 2026. They also expressed interest in participating in the Olympiads in the field of psychology "45 Parallel" and in the field of pedagogical student skills "Crystal Apple".

Following the meeting, the development of joint educational programs in the areas of "Special (defectological) education" (Master's degree) and "Mediation and Social Pedagogy" (bachelor's degree) will begin.

As part of the delegation's work, a meeting was also held with Tatiana Urzhumtseva, head of the representative office of the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing. NCFU and Rossotrudnichestvo are implementing large-scale international educational, scientific and educational projects. The main initiatives are aimed at promoting the Russian language and expanding humanitarian youth initiatives.

Tatiana Borisovna supported the idea of expanding academic cooperation and expressed support for coordinating activities in the field of developing contacts with universities in China.
