The Student Design Bureau of the North Caucasus Federal University has completed a large-scale order for the industrial partner LLC Elektrostroyservice.

As part of the cooperation between the university and the enterprise, a large volume of output-mounted products was produced and shipped: 1,472 printed circuit boards and over 8,000 connectors. All nodes have passed the multi-stage control of the technical control department and comply with current electrotechnical standards.

Electrostroyservice LLC specializes in the production of electrical cabinets and engineering automated devices, including fragrance systems for public spaces (hotels, fitness centers, etc.). Such devices include complex electronics: controllers, power distribution boards, liquid supply systems, and electronic sensors. The partner delegates part of the assembly and installation operations to the Design Bureau, relying on its specialized expertise.

Students undergoing practical training actively participated in the implementation of the project. They have mastered the full cycle of work – from soldering to final quality control. The nodes they produce are not educational layouts.: they are integrated into serial products and are operated at facilities in different regions of Russia.

– Our work model is not just staff training, but a full–fledged integration of the educational process into the real production cycle. Students solve problems that have direct economic value: their work becomes part of the finished product, which is then used at facilities across the country. This creates an understanding of engineering responsibility and the importance of their work for future specialists," said Philip Samoilov, PhD, Project leader, Associate Professor of the Interinstitutional Basic Department of the Department of Digital, Robotic Systems and Electronics at the NCFU Institute of Advanced Engineering.

The cooperation between SKB and Elektrostroyservice LLC demonstrates an effective model of cooperation between science, education and industry: the industrial partner receives high–quality components in a short time, and students receive practical skills in conditions as close as possible to real production.

For reference: The Student Design Bureau (SKB) of the North Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) is a platform for training engineers capable of developing and implementing innovative technologies for the real sector of the economy. SKB was created with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia within the framework of the Priority 2030 program. In 2025, the bureau became one of the 15 winners of the All-Russian competition and the only project in the North Caucasus Federal District to receive a grant.
