Through times, science has inevitably been an important element of any nation’s power and driving force. No need to say that the world’s economy and social welfare nowadays depend fully on research and progress, as well as on advanced technology that has come into our lives.

Our University has become a center of innovation, technology and social transformation for thew North Caucasus – today’s NCFU is home to 27 research schools, with around 1,000 Candidates and Doctors of Science employed, with numerous conferences hosted here, which cover basically all areas of human activity and bring together both young and seasoned scholars.

I strongly believe that this scientific decade, as it has been announced by Russia’s President, will be something special to ensure our country’s technological breakthrough, and we, in turn, will go on supporting discoveries, as well as creating better conditions to facilitate more and more young talents involved in this sphere.
