NCFU and Ministry of Finance (Stavropol Region) joined efforts to hold the first Financial Festival for Children and Youth – an online event that brought together over 80 schoolers from Stavropol.

The event was held as part of the regional program launched by the regional Ministry of Finance aimed at improving financial literacy.

The Festival was interactive and the participants were broken into three age groups, each of them to be charged with respective tasks – from guessing the right cartoon character to quizzes and creative projects.

One of the representatives who followed the entire event was Yury Suslov – Assistant Minister of Finance.

– This event is both academic and entertaining, which means the participants play to learn more about finance, terminology, and even how to protect their rights as consumers, - Mr. Suslov was quoted as saying. – And the outcomes prove that we are moving the right way – kids love events like this, and what they learn here will come in handy through life.
