The International Winter School that NCFU has launched is aimed not at teaching advanced ways to studying Russian yet also at helping youngsters from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan polish their leadership and management skills.
Since the Russian Government set the task of promoting the Russian Language and culture, NCFU has been actively involved in various activities, including the Russian Language – My Formula of Success international project for students from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan majoring in languages and teaching.

– Our countries share a lot of history, spiritual values, culture and traditions, whereas the Russian Language is what brings this all together into a common space. I truly believe that such cultural and academic events enhance mutual trust and understanding among our peoples, – Dmitry Bespalov (Rector, NCFU) was quoted as saying.
The selection held for the those seeking to join the school embraced several areas, after which 40 students from Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan underwent intensive training at Khachatur Abovyan Armenian State Pedagogical University working on their management, team-work and project activity skills.

The organizers made a special point of employing innovative types of interaction, which could not but add to the participants’ leadership and interpersonal communication abilities. The entire event was diverse and interesting beyond words, and the Jury must have had a truly tough time trying to select the best ones, which will now be further presented to respective authorities in Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan for implementation.
Another mission for the School was improving the general cultural awareness, and to learn more about the rich history of Armenia (where 80% of the population have a good command of Russian) a special tour was arranged.
