– Countering the falsification of history is the main task of modern scientists, it is a matter of peaceful coexistence of the countries of our Caucasian region in the context of the global information war. Our project is aimed at popularizing Russia's civilizational achievements in world history and highlighting the contribution of the Caucasian states to historical processes. It is important that through the actualization of a specific historical event – the Battle of Sarykamysh – we were able to raise issues of preserving good-neighborly relations between the countries of the Caucasus, and this contributes to the preservation of historical memory and the harmonization of interethnic relations," commented Marina Kolesnikova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Director of the NCFU Humanitarian Institute.

Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia, Professor, Director of the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Melkonyan delivered a report on the problems of the annexation of Eastern Armenia to Russia at the plenary session. The topic of Georgian participation in the First World War was presented by Professor Joni Kvitsiani and Professor Yuri Sulaberidze from Iv Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.

Igor Kryuchkov, Professor of the Humanities Institute, Head of the Department of General History, and Marina Kolesnikova, Director of the Humanities Institute, who reviewed the Sarykamysh operation and its significance in Russian historiography, made presentations from the North Caucasus Federal University.
