Employees of the North Caucasus Federal University participated in the work of the jury of the Psychology and Cognitive Sciences section at the XXXVII Stavropol Regional Open Scientific Conference of V.S. Igropulo schoolchildren.

Irina Belasheva, Head of the NCFU Department of General Psychology and Personality Psychology, headed the section's jury. The expert commission also included staff from the Department of General Psychology and Personality Psychology and the Basic Department of Counseling Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Education.

According to the results of the evaluation of the work, the experts noted a steady increase in the level of research competencies among the participants. Students carefully prepare and defend projects that reflect current issues of modern psychology: digital identity, cybersocialization, psychological well-being in conditions of instability.

Many of the works went beyond the scope of educational tasks and combined psychology with cognitive sciences, neurophysiology and digital technologies. Such an interdisciplinary approach, according to the jury members, forms a research potential that is in demand in psychological science and practice.

The participation of teachers of the North Caucasus Federal University in the V.S. Igropulo conference continues the university's long-term practice of providing expert support to school research in the region.
