Prof. Eleonora Manvelyan (Dr. of Sc., Dept of Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Technology, Faculty of Chemistry & Pharmacy, NCFU) has won the Professor of the Year 2021 Award announced by the Russian Council of Professors.

This is the first in Russia’s history award that offers independent public recognition, while evaluating not academic institutions yet the staff.

Prof. Manvelyan’s career started in the area of healthcare and practical pharmacy, to go on further in the Stavropol State Pedagogic Institute, which is not the North-Caucasus Federal University. She has supervised more than a few research projects, whereas her postgraduate students have won numerous prizes and awards for research.

– I am proud indeed to get this appreciation of my work. Every day I see my students’ burning eyes, and I always do my best to share with youngsters as much knowledge as I can, as well as help them through their research activities, - the professor was quoted as saying.
